The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem is more commonly known as the Order of St John. One of five mutually recognized orders of St John, it is an order of the British crown.
Website details
The St John website is a large database driven website featuring a secure members area, latest news, a calendar of events and a comprehensive section devoted entirely to explaining the global nature of their work.
Before starting on any design work it was important to examine and understand the large amount of content that needed to be placed onto the site. To achieve this plenty of planning time was set a side to ensure that the website structure was succinct, accurate and easy to manage.
The websites look and feel was designed by following a set of very strict design guidelines. These guidelines ensured that the colours, logo, typography etc accurately reflected the organisations identity.
The website is built on top of a Standards Compliant Content Management System that enables staff to edit/upload content and manage the news sections.
